1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 4-door Sedan

Classic Car Addict is excited to present this mostly original 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air sedan for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The Chevrolet Bel Air was America's most popular car for 1955, and the love is still as strong over half a century later.
For 1955, Chevy's full-size model received all new styling and power. It was called the “Hot One” in GM's advertising campaign. Chevrolet's styling was crisp and clean. Bel Air's came with interior carpet, chrome spears on the front fenders, stainless steel window moldings, full wheel covers and a Ferrari-inspired front grille.
The Bel Air wears what appears to be its original Shoreline Beige and Neptune Green paint, but with natural patina without a clear coat. The paint is cracking due to age but looks amazing. This seems to be an original, unrestored survivor time capsule. Details include a hood ornament, chrome bumpers, and chrome trim.
The front and rear bench seats look to have the original green cloth seats with green carpet. Again, we cannot confirm or deny if it is 100% original, but it does appear to be. The three-spoke steering wheel (the horn does work) sits ahead of original gauges and the odometer shows 20,869 miles. Total mileage is unknown. Sitting in the passenger seat, there is an analog Bel Air clock that is not working. Interior trim pieces are all in good shape, doors shut smoothly.
Under the hood features a 265 Chevrolet V8 engine with a two-barrel carburetor that is linked to a two-speed automatic transmission. The Bel Air fires up every time with little to no hesitation. It does have a new battery as well. She rides on All Season tires custom 428 A/S, P215/75R15 all the way around. The spare tire is P205/75R15.
