Classic Car Addict is proud to present this highly sought after 1969 Ford Bronco for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The Bronco made its grand debut in 1966, it was a utilitarian two-door vehicle that was available in a wagon, roadster, and pickup, all of them offered four-wheel drive for enhanced off-road capabilities.
The model U-150 was the most luxurious Bronco. The wagons body was beefed up, particularly the door frames, rocker panels, and the roof. The roof was no longer detachable. There were fixed windows in the rear lift gate and on each side of the rear compartment. The cowl area was improved to reduce road noise. The insulation was improved. Among standard features were a three-speed fully synchronized transmission, Mono-Beam front suspension, through-drive two-speed transfer case, and 11 x 2-inch front brakes.
The cabin features Corbeau front bucket seats in black and Corbeau rear bench finished in black with red insert. The rear seat has matching red RJS seatbelts. It does have a full bolt-in roll bar. The Grant GT four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 120-MPH speedometer with auxiliary gauges for tach, fuel, volts, oil, and temp. Door panels are finished in red with black elbow rests, but do not have panel inserts. The interior is like a time capsule that you get to finish designing.
We aren't sure what color the Bronco was when it left the factory (warranty plate is missing), but it's currently finished in red with a white top. The removable doors are also finished in red. The front and rear bumpers are painted black, and it wears black fender flares. The Bronco rolls on Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires, 35x12.50R15LT's all the way around with WARN locking hubs and a 6-inch lift.
The rebuilt 302ci V8 is equipped with an MSD ignition, Holley double pumper with an Edelbrock intake, aluminum radiator, Blueprint aluminum heads and long tube headers. It has power steering and power disc brakes all the way around. Power is sent to the rear through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The Dana 44 front differential was rebuilt, 4:56 ring and pinion in early 2024.
